Thanks for all the support in friends additions or faves. I try to thank all of them, apologies if I may be a month or so late. School has been busy, as well as job searching in the real world. I am still alive and around. I wish I had more time to develop my skills, but I still enjoy looking at art when I have the time to go through the deviations on my watch list.
What actually prompted me to write tonight was the hate of capitalism going around that I see in the community, with the holidays rapidly approaching. I used to dislike businessmen because of all the capitalism nonsense. But when you take a minute to really think about it, would America be the country it is without capitalism? Will the developing countries actually be developing without the helping hand of capitalism providing those outsourced jobs to developing countries such as India or China? One may think the businesses or capitalists of American are getting all the profits. Though they may be getting a large share of the profits, at the same time, is it helping these underdeveloped countries stabilize. Again, this is not an ethnocentric mindset nor arrogance. This is the mind of a business student who will become a top executive of a Fortune 500 or 1000 company.
Capitalism may not be for all, such as socialist Russia or communist Cuba or North Korea. However, capitalism is not the evil hand here. Without it, there would be no trade, markets will not open, and opportunities will not be explored. So before making an offhanded statement about the ills of capitalism, look and see at the benefits and value that it has brought to your life. Would you be using an iPod? Would there be research and development to products and technologies that have bettered your life? If you don't support capitalism, please, try visiting a country where capitalism does not exist and tell me about your experience. Let me know if you now hate capitalism.
Without it, you would not have all the materialistic items that you own.
On another note, even though I no longer have time to submit or work on improving my art anymore, I must stay that I still have some time to browse and follow up on certain artists. However, I feel that sometimes even though I really enjoy an artist's work, they lose their luster when they start complaining and whining about everything. They make it seem like they're so much superior. It makes me lose respect for the artist and it seems like the grade and quality of their work sank down yet another level. It's truly sad when an artists produces such nice work, yet, they can't appreciate their fan base and must complain when everything does not go their way. What's even more sad is that I'm thinking about removing some of them from my watchlist because they can't watch what they say...it really downgrades their work and I think that's just too bad.

have a great day :3

Don't push the red button!!
A birthday rhyme for you
on your special day
Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving.
Thursday's child works hard for a living,
Friday's child fears no foe.
Saturday's child has far to go.
And the child born on Sunday
is bonny and wise in every way.

My new deviation Black-a-v1
"Because today's so special
it really wouldn't do,
to send one simple birthday wish
to last the whole year through...
So this wishes happy moments,
a day when dreams come true,
and a year that's filled with all the things
that mean the most to you."

Love that lives in the heart cannot be so easily terminated by time. Even though the encounter is brief its impression shall last a lifetime. No one can change the direction of love that lives in the heart. If you have loved that in itself is the answer.
